BUILDING FEMINIST LEADERSHIP THROUGH CAPACITY BUILDING AND LEADERSHIP SUPPORT PROGRMMES

COUNSELLING AND LEGAL SUPPORT TO WOMEN FACING VIOLENCE

WLTC provides regualr counselling and legal support to women in cases of violation of women's rights.

There are reports of increasing violence against women during this period. We have been reaching out to the women through telephonic counselling and legal advice and support. Upon receiving a resuest we support a woman to find immediate security, inform police, find secure shelter and file cases if she wishes. Our women leaders in different communities in Assam also have been monitoring the situation on ground and supporting women in dealing with violence against women. You can share the numbers through this facebook post.
